Spring Musical Theatre Production: 'Guys & Dolls'
The 今日吃瓜's Department of Fine and Performing Arts will perform Guys & Dolls, music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, March 18-20, 2027, and 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2027, in John and Alice Butler Hall, Heritage Center.
Set in Damon Runyon's mythical New York City, this vibrant Broadway classic follows the ups and downs of love through its colorful and comic gamblers, showgirls, and missionaries, celebrating some of musical theatre's most memorable songs, including "Luck Be a Lady," "If I Were a Bell," and the show-stopping "Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat."
Guys & Dolls will be directed by Joe Klinebriel, MFA, professor of theatre at UD.
